Well, that’s not entirely true - I have the domain name pointing here now.

Today I went through the logs and noted all the files that were still being called (mostly f-150 movies) and I will be adding redirects for any of those requests to their new location here. I will also be uploading a bunch of old photos from around 1997 or 1998 that I found - I look like a completely different person!

So while tek-nics.com may no longer exist in the form it did previously, it will always be around in some form or another. We need to let things go from time to time. The best part - canceling that hosting plan saves me about 17 bucks a month!

Just wanted to give a quick update, everything that should work related to the new site layout and theme should be functional at this point. Twitter is online, Flickr is online, Most read entries don’t give funky errors, CSS on the sidebar has been fixed (Chris sent me his file…), I also added some links to the footer (again Chris’s footer edited) and finally there are now tags underneath all the posts (Related post plugin).

I have to go through some of the older posts and correct hyperlinks and photos, but I will do that a bit at a time.

I think I am going to watch the rest of the Islanders-Montreal game, even though they are losing 1-0 and will likely lose yet another game.

Oh well, maybe next year.
